Fantastic location, comfortable beds, clean shared areas but most of all, amazing hosts. They helped me with planning for the days I stayed (Did a marvellous hike because they advised the specific loops I should take), and also just a blast to talk to about Japan, travelling or anything else. Cannot recommend enough.

Great hotel, the stuff are super nice and helpful. Family friendly. The hotel is big, clean, great onsen. The rooms are spacious, and the bed is comfortable. All floors in the hotel and tooms are covered with rugs so if you have allergies take it into consideration. They have a restaurant and went out of their way to make sure they had vegetarian options for us. The breakfast buffet had various of options, and was delicious. The only critique i have is that they serve dumplings which they write to be made of only wheat, milk and egg, so we though its vegetarian, but it had pork inside. Hopefully they will change it. The hotel is up a hill so they have a shuttle to go down to the bus station. I would recommend renting a car instead.

Loved the view of Mt Fuji overseeing the lake from our room Also loved the Japanese-style room, and the dinner and breakfast we availed of were great. The onsens were also a pleasant experience to try, and the staff were very attentive and can speak English well. We also appreciated the shuttle back to the station.

Lovely hotel with stunning view of Mt Fuji over the lake. Even when Mt Fuji was hiding there was still the lake view. We had French dinner the first night and beef shabu-shabu the second. Wonderful dinners. Would definitely recommend the hotel and dinners.
