Very nice owner, helped us with the journey to Adam's Peak and got us an amazing driver who not only took us there at night, slept at the foot of the mountain while waiting for us but also showed us great places on the way back. The accommodation was very clean, delicious dinner and breakfast. We were very happy.

This is a beautiful hidden gem. The staff...amazing! They went above and beyond every day! They arranged tours for us and had our very own tour guide (Luxman), who works at the hotel take us to plantations and sites. He was the best ever! Can't thank him enough! Our room was perfect! Comfortable and very clean. The food at the restaurant was delicious and very well priced! This place went beyond our expectations and is very highly recommended. You won't be disappointed! We will return.

The staff were very welcoming and especially helpful when it came to explaining the process of climbing Adam's peak, and organising meals for dinner. The rooms were just as pictured with amazing views. The dining room at Wathsala Inn has an amazing view and is open air. Great value for money!

An absolute gem of a place. A former colonial home with wonderful gardens full of flowers, huge balconies overlooking them, modern colonial style rooms with 4 poster beds, delightful, attentive staff and an amazing cook serving Sri Lancan and world classic dishes with flair. We were picked up by Arthur (despite a delayed train) and had a short journey back to the homestay. It's in a great location, a short walk into Nuwara Eliya and easy access to Lake Gregory. Our room was lovely and had everything we needed. Arthur was great at helping arrange some laundry for us and giving us tips on the area. We only spent one day there but got a full tour of three different tea plantations and some waterfalls. The breakfasts were traditional Sri Lankan food and both delicious )dahl one day and milk rice the next). It was a great last stop before our holiday came to an end in Sri Lanka!

this private host has been the most beautiful stay . Romeni (the host) has been very caring and ensured everything was ok for us. the room is very cosy and comfortable with an amazing view over Nuwara Eliya town. The masterpiece is the home made Sri Lankan breakfast cooked by Romeni and her mum and auntie, absolutely loved it! Romeni did explain to us all the ingredient and the taste was outstanding.
