The hospitality of the property manager, Mr Shameera, was well beyond our expectations. He was available at all times, was kind enough to make us an itinerary for our 2 days stay in Nuwara Eliya, and lastly gave us a tour of the tea plantations that were around the villa.

We were welcomed with a pot of tea and biscuits that was taken on the balcony overlooking tea fields. Just wonderful. The room was a great size as was the bathroom and the bath overlooking the tea fields was great in the evening. The owner offered to walk me around the tea fields in the morning, which was a nice personal touch.

Araliya Green Hills Hotel where I stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is clean with a large, spacious and well-equipped room. Kind, smiling and professional staff. Fair price. Breakfast included, rich and good. Restaurant in the evening with a varied menu. Highly recommend the hotel. If I come to the area again, I will definitely choose this hotel.

Located in an old tea factory, this hotel is something special for people who enjoy tradition. The outside facade of the old tea factory was kept, while the inside keeps many momentos, machinery and the old elevators. A special experience! Dinner and breakfast buffet were both excellent as well.
