great location near the uppuveli beach, not even 5min walk. the room is very large. Thines is a great host giving tips and always willing to help. I arrived earlier, but my room was ready so I could do the check in right away.

What a lovely place to stay! We were so happy to witness and admire the great job the Host- Prashanth does helping all the animals in need. Prashanth is a beautiful and very kind person who literally restored our belief in humans. We very much recommend it to pet lovers, and we were happy to know that by staying there we take part in helping the animals. You can see there the sweetest furry friends, and we fell in love with each one of them! The room had everything we needed and the homestay is only a few minutes from the beach and all the amenities . The host is very helpful in arranging tuk tuk, bus tickets and recommending places to eat real local food. We would love to be back there and see all these beautiful faces again! Most notably, the staff are incredibly helpful and super friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable. So-J is an ideal spot for a peaceful and convenient beach holiday!

We had a lovely stay at Cardamon Hotel, the team is very kind an always checking how we are going and if we need help. The hotel situation is perfect to relax and deconnect, with an access to the beach and a diving center next to it. Room are big, simple and confortable.

We had a great time at the Nilaveli beach resort. The staff was really very nice. What is not said is that, on the beach, next to the resort, there is an exceptionnal spectacle every day: traditionnal fishing. Fishermen bring an enormous net with a boat, about 1 km away from the shore. The net is linked with 2 long ropes that 20 people pull up from the beach for about 2 hours. Estonishing to discover how many fishes they bring that way in their net!

This hotel is nestled on Nilavali Beach, a 10-minute boat ride from Pigeon Island. There is no available WiFi, a large outdoor pool and spacious rooms with views of the ocean.

I love coming here, this is my 3rd visit. I love the open space of the resort, the quite nature, the palm trees, the relaxed poolside, the beach views, the calm ocean is great for swimming. Everything about this resort is amazing for adults, this is my happy place to unwind and re-fill my cup. The staff are caring and kind, the food and cocktails at the beachside restaurant is delicious, we enjoyed beautiful soulful music by the very talented musician who plays multiple instruments. The buffet breakfast is to die for, so many delicious options and food choices. The rooms are simple, large and clean, with comfy beds and amazing views out to the pool / ocean. You can do as little or as much as you like, easy to ride into town and see the local sights or go snorkelling, diving or just relax.
