The Sergeant House is an ensemble of buildings built in classical Sri Lankan architecture, with high-quality furniture typical of the country and lovingly designed, very appealing decoration in all areas of the complex. Although the original building is very old, it leaves nothing to be desired in terms of modern, contemporary comfort. The rooms are furnished and equipped down to the smallest detail. The lush tropical garden is well maintained and offers a sheltered Jacuzzi area and other quiet seating areas. The pool is elegantly blended into the grounds and offers a sort of jungle feeling when swimming. The really private small but nice beach offers sunny and shady spots on a nice lawn. As the hotel does not have many rooms, there was always a very private, quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The staff are personable, friendly and well trained. The very nice, competent manager of the hotel Chanthuri is always available for her guests and was always a good help with any questions. The tuktuk drivers and masseurs she arranges are also highly recommended. There was nothing to complain about. I would happily come back anytime.

The room was very big and confortable, very clean. Staff was very kind and polite people, the pool was beautiful and the landscape fantastic. Near the hotel there was manu restaurant in front of the beach

annesophien455 1) The nicest owners you can think of, always here to help and please guests 2) The nicest staff you can think of: at the restaurant, in the kitchen, at reception, cleaning ladies and gentlemen 3) Very generous breakfast 4) Very big rooms 5) All rooms have great sea views 6) Amazing location on the beach, you can see turtles swimming from your window and you’re 5mn away by bus (bus stops in front of the hotel every 5-10mn maximum) from Unuwatuna city center / beach / tourist center 7) Very nice Sri Lankan food (I’ve not tried the Western dishes on the menu), I’ve tried the restaurants around the hotel on the beach and the food was not as nice

The property is located further back from the main part of Unawatuna but I liked this as I prefer being away from the sea. It is a quiet oasis of tranquility. The room was amazing - it had a lovely big 4 poster bed which was like sleeping on a cloud. I loved the open roof bathroom with the stunning shower which had hot water. The pool was fab and clean. The service was great and friendly and the food was amazing. The portions were huge and the dishes were all freshly made. We had the biggest prawns and a huge tuna steak. The vegetable curries are a trio of delicious curries, highly recommend.

Secretgarden Villa is located in Galle, just 4 km from the historical Galle Fort and Galle Lighthouse. The accommodation provides charming Sri Lankan-style guestrooms that are fully air-conditioned.

Room very spacious, breakfast, amazing garden, peace, staff. The garden is also bug's house so it could happen that some bug visit your room, but the staff help to take It out.

The property is perfectly placed, both close to the beach and the lively town area. But what makes the place is the staff. They are fantastic. The place is run by 4 brothers and they are all friendly, helpful and kind. It is obvious how proud they are of their hotel and so they should be. The breakfasts are amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay here.

Very kind staff who go above and beyond to help make your experience excellent. They kindly upgraded us to a room with an outdoor bath which was incredible. They were so attentive and caring. We wished we could have stayed longer. Being on the beach front was perfect.
