This B&B has an excellent location, 3 minutes from the Center of Haarlem, Cafes, Restaurants, Shops. Just across the street 2 Grocery Shops, in front of the building there is a bus station. We enjoyed having a superb breakfast in the quiet garden hidden behind the house. The hosts were very nice and the beds were very comfortable. We recommend.

We had such a wonderful stay. Henk and Annamarie made us feel at home and were exceptional hosts. They greeted us with a warm drink and gave us lots of useful information on Haarlem. Our room was spacious and comfortable and looked onto one of the typical side streets. Buffet Breakfast was served in a cosy dining room with large windows and offered a fantastic selection including yoghurt, eggs, ham and cheese and croissants. The location was just perfect as it was bang in the centre, a couple of minutes away from the main square and 10 mins from the train station. We loved staying in this beautiful, cosy, typical house and the personal attention of our friendly hosts.

We loved this quirky gem of a boutique hotel. The decor is fun and also elegant- our room was Asian-themed (others are in various themes). Very comfortable accommodations, excellent and plentiful breakfast with some cooked to order eggs, etc. The staff was always willing to help and gave us many recommendations for this lovely city of Haarlem- which was in was crazy times with World Cup week and all locals involved! Easy walk to the train station. We absolutely want to return to Haarlem and Boutique Hotel Staats!

    Lovely place in the middle of Haarlem. Large room and bathroom, excellent bed. Space and luxury at a very reasonable rate. Chose Brass Suites in Haarlem in preference of equally priced hotels in Amsterdam that offer much less in the space and services space. Quirks like the lift only add rather than retract from the experience. Highly recommended.

    Ist was the perfect stay. Annemarie and Henk make you feel at home from the first moment on. We loved our tiny room, the lovely breakfast (don’t miss the yogurt!) and the chats with Annemarie and Henk. Their recommendations were great and their passion for what they are doing is heart-warming! All the very best!

    It was just a perfect stay!.The old house in the very heart of Haarlem, directly at the bus stop . The apartment was absolutely beautiful, with a great love to historical details but also with all the modern comfort. A dreamlike garden outside, the large windows, the historic furniture - the time stopped and you feel like in a fairly tale. Ad and Esther are very lovely and friendly hosts. Many thanks! And the breakfast was very tasty! I definitely will come back again soon!
