The location and view was incredible. The hotel had quite a rustic appearance but was beautiful. It was perched on the hilltop and over several levels. All the rooms had stunning Mountain View’s and it was just lovely. I had expected that due to the rustic appearance the standard would be lower but it wasn’t - it was gorgeous. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and on hand to help with everything needed. It was the perfect place to just sit and state at the view from a multitude of levels on the hill side. We had the food which was good- ordered a thali from the restaurant and breakfast was also very good.

Sitting 7200 feet above sea level on Windy Hill, Club Himalaya Nagarkot offers 360 degree views of the Himalayas. Away from the busy city, it features a shopping arcade.

I stayed in new building, the room inside is super big, comfortable and clean! They have balcony too facing the jungle so peaceful. Bathroom has hot shower. Breakfast is buffet, on the rooftop mountain view. Everything is nice.

Mr. Pradeep and family welcomed me with a warm smile when I reached the property. I immediately felt at home. It’s a beautiful traditional Nepali house just 3 minutes from Patan Durbar square for anybody who likes to experience this unique place. Equipped with fridge, kettle, water, fresh towels, slippers etc. it’s a traditional house so do not expect huge luxurious bathrooms but it is clean and small. The hearty breakfast served by the host and conversations are priceless. I stayed here for 2 days and had the best time. I highly recommend to anybody interested in unique traditional stay experience.

The staff took appropriate actions regarding my requests, even through e-mail and phone call. It rewards to price we paid. The facility and ambient atmosphere is great as high-end class hotel in KTM, especially I like the good scent entire hotel.

Nestled within beautifully landscaped grounds, Shambaling Hotel is a charming refurbished house from the 70s.

The entire team at Shambaling Hotel contributes to a comfortable and unforgettable stay. This was my second time here and the hotel once again exceeded my expectations. Everything revolves around hospitality of the highest level. The hotel is situated in a nice quiet area and the garden is also a nice place for a great breakfast. Thanks for the excellent stay.

We were there for the Diwali but we didn't know about It , we arrived late and didn't realize It was holiday.When we asked if It would be possibile to have dinner because we didn't want to go out they organized a Wonderful traditional dinner out on the terrace which was completed decorated with coloured mandalas on the floor made on purpose for us .the family were all there for serving us and explaining the meaning of that holiday.w Wonderful experience for us .The view of Durbar Square from the terrace where we had also breakfast was unique and when I went to pay the Bill we realised that we had bene their guests and they didn't want we paid for dinner.The best hotel we stayed in Nepal.I strongly reccomend it
