A lovely place with a wonderful location,good vibes

Nice room (albeit a bit narrow for luggage of two), great beds, super quiet at night, very lovely surroundings, extremely nice host. Very good breakfast.

Very good staff and service, they were flexible and kind despite my having mixed up my days of reservation. They took care of it immediately. It is a beautiful location and the river view rooms are lovely with a fantastic view. I have been there twice now and will go back again.

Lovely clean hotel set overlooking the River, staff were friendly and helpful, room was adequate. Buffet breakfast was great and kept well stocked. There were also options for boat trips and hiring canoes for activities on the river.

We had booked a room with a street view, but the owner upgraded us (at no cost!!) to a river view room. The river view rooms are worth the premium - not only is the view wonderful, but they come with a great private balcony and are on the ground level (so no stairs to climb!). The room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The bar/patio is a comfortable place to relax with a drink and snacks while watching the river flow by. The location is convenient for the sites and great restaurants.

It’s a beautiful place, the views are exceptional and the setting is very relaxing. The staff are lovely and very helpful. We loved the living room area, particularly the fire.

Lovely relaxing environment and helpful staff

Lovely quiet location with a maxing views of Mértola old town over the river. Comfy bed, good bathroom and shower. staff very helpful, breakfast good - lovely freshly squeezed orange juice. Feels quite homely and relaxed.
