Romantic Hotels in Ben Tre

For those wanting to have a Mekong delta experience away from tours, this is your place. We caught a bus using Futa bus line, which provided a shuttle bus to and from the property. Our host helped ensure we knew exactly what time to be collected. We arrived early, which wasn't a problem, and were also allowed late checkout. The property is calm and tranquil, right by a branch of the river. Our bungalow was very clean and comfortable. We borrowed bikes on both days to explore the area. On the second day, we got a small ferry over to one of the islands. The property organised a sampan boat ride for us, and we were picked up from the little jetty at the farmstay. We ate meals at the property which you had to book in advance. These were good value and delicious. We would highly recommend this as a great escape from the hustle and bustle of HCM and excellent value for money.

We’ve spend two nights at the Mango Riverside Home and had a great time. The staff is very friendly and helps with everything you’d want to know or do. But above all, it is an amazing resort in the middle of coconut trees, banana trees, bamboo and has flowers in all the colors you can think of. And of course; based next to the river is is an easy hop-on point to discover the Mekong Delta. Tip: book a tour with Mango Tours and you’ll get a 4 hour experience of what life is like here. We got an upgraded room when we checked in and it was beautiful. Very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Our kids loved the pool right in the middle of the resort, and so did we. The menu is also more than sufficient. We strongly suggest you order a Frozen Mango-cocktail when you are here. All-in-all we had some great days here and I’d recommend everyone visiting Mekong to stay here. 10/10

The hotel has some charm and its position in a calm neighborhood close to the river makes it a perfect spot. The pool is very well kept and beautiful, moreover we had it totally for ourselves both days we spent here. The breakfast is correct and is taken in an adjacent space. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, giving some useful information, setting us up a rented scooter and suggesting seafood restaurants. We would definitely come back.
