This has been by far the best experience in Vietnam so far. Clay House has exceeded all expectations. The position is perfect, right on the trail paths. Everything at the object is amazing, and the best part is their food. Don't worry about searching for restaurants - their kitchen is amazing and it serves both lunch and dinner.

We traveled with two other couples. Upon arrival, served hot local tea. Reception pleasantly surprised us with complementary upgraded mountain view rooms close to each other which really made the visit to Sapa special. Later they arranged day trekking to ethnic villages with local guide. Location is ideal near the church, restaurants,, Sun Group for Fansipan cable car, etc. Breakfast has good mix of Asian and Western dishes, eggs prepared to order. Luxury trains back to Hanoi were all booked, but the manager worked diligently to search, find and book us in three 2X suites. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved this place. The staff was very helpful and very nice. It is very close to the centre and Sapa station. We were able to check in early, as we arrived at 7 am. They serve breakfast, have Vietnamese and European options. Recommend this hotel if you are travelling to sapa!
