Romantic Hotels in Langebaan

Crystal Lagoon Lodge is a very beautiful midsized (I assume 10-12 rooms?) bed and breakfast hotel in a secluded and guarded area called Calypso Beach. The rooms are very bright and have a beautiful view over the mostly private beach (it is used mainly by the people spending time in their holiday houses or lodging guests). There is a pathway down from the hotel directly to the beach, which makes beach access just brilliant. Our room (we had the 40 square meter room 1 on the 1st floor) was on the corner of the building and gave us an all round sight of the beach. The open bathroom (probably not suitable for families with kids) enables you to look out at the sea while showering (bit since it is open, you can't really avoid flooding the floor at least somehow). But that is a minor detail which definetely doesn't make your stay less comfortable. For breakfast, you have two options, both with eggs as main ingredient. Additionally, you can have toast, butter, jam and muffins. We stayed for 3 days, so we were fine with that. The hotel has it's own parking lot which seems to be large enough if there is only 1 car per room. Very friendly staff and fast and great laundry service (we got our clean laundry within half a day or so). All in all, great stay, great place, would return any time. ... oh yes, the beach - which, although we were there over New Year, was never crowded! - and the sea is mega clean and wonderful to swim (even if the water temperature probably didn't surpass 18 degrees) and brave the waves.

The views, the room, the staff...just perfect😍

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel has a fine dining restaurant and we had every meal here because it was just so good. It is beautifully located with stunning views of the bay. The owner is very kind, passionate and professional. So is every single staff member we encountered. We highly recommend this venue. 15 min walk to sharks bay where you can go for a swim. And easy access to the gate for the national park at Langebaan which is near sharks bay.

Very well situated with a beautiful view of the ocean. There are nice amenities available, especially for the little ones. The food was delicious and the staff were very nice and professional. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.

The view and people is friendly

Loved my welcome hug ive got on arrival made me feel at home since i arrived. The peacefulness is just what we sometimes need away from the rush of our daily life's give you time to reboot. Will defnitely use it again for my next stay before the marathon.. Thanks for a lovely stay.
