As we went out for dinner, the location of the Lodge was very central, so we could just walk to the best local restaurant. The service of the host was very informative and helpful. Made the next day travel a highlight. A complementary carwash came to us just at the right time. Thank you.

The location is stunning, totally worth a visit! The property was very recently purchased by new owners who are quite obviously putting in the effort to make the property even better. It’s got great bones and I’m sure when their vision comes to life it will be truly amazing. They were very kind and offered us great service, including a very tasty breakfast. Our room was comfortable and thankfully had heating for the very cold night. I would definitely recommend!

Magda and her husband are the perfect hosts! :) The guesthouse is really beautiful and you feel very safe and at home. They are going above and beyond to make your stay memorable. In walking distance there is one of the best restaurants we had lunch and dinner at in S.A. called Nostalgia.

The friendly atmosphere created by the hosts who had recently taken over the property. Gerry advised and made a restaurant booking for us and helped us plan a beautiful drive in the mountains. The room was very comfortable. The several outdoor areas and pools were very relaxing. The breakfast was the best on our trip. Would love to return.

I loved the attention to detail. The drive into the property, the room and the grounds is absolutely gorgeous. The property is well kept and the lady who checked us in was so friendly and kind too. It’s also very peaceful. I just wish we had spend more time here.

The whole tent/glamping was fun and comfortable. It had air-conditioning! We could hear the babbling of the brook inside the tent. The Restaurant served great meals, including exotic local game.

Situated on the main road, on the fringe of Oudtshoorn, this 4-star Victorian guest house is set in a large exotic garden.
