Opened in 2015, Das Franzl - Bett & Brot is 800 metres from the shore of Lake Wolfgang, where guests can use a lake access with a sunbathing lawn. Beautiful view, walking distance to bus station. Staff is friendly, room so nice, will come back again. Recommended.

Flo and his partner were really nice and helpful, accomodating our request for earlier breakfest and giving us great tips how to spend our Saturday before heading home. The room is big enough and cosy with beautiful view on the hills and the lake. Breakfest was delicious and a lovely gentleman made us great scrambled and fried eggs. The pension is very close to town with shops, cafes and restaurants, but quiet at the same time, so you can relax after a long day by the lake or on a racetrack :)

Reiterhof Suassbauer is just 100 metres from Lake Wolfgang and 800 metres from the centre of St. Wolfgang. It offers a riding school and riding opportunities with Iceland horses. Beautiful location. Very friendly and efficient staff

Pension Schlömmer is located 4 km from Sankt Gilgen and has a private beach access to Lake Wolfgang, just 200 metres from the house. It offers for guests a balcony in every room. Hostess was very welcoming and helpful. She helped us with all of our extra needs, just one example of many - when we were late in arriving and checking in she said it was no problem and helped us search for some take away pizza. The place itself is amazing, great breakfast, the area is beautiful with many bicycle roads, close to the lake and a ferry station and a few minutes drive to some lovely towns and attractions

Located right on the shore on Lake Wolfgang, Hotel & Gasthof Fürberg is 3.5 km, approximately a 45-minutes walk, from the centre of St. Gilgen. I liked everything! The location is amazing, secluded and calm but also has everything you need like food at the restaurant or 5 minutes away by car at any supermarket. I would definitely come again. Friends' groups, however, shall watch out for the showering situation 😂 it is more like a romantic getaway 😉 but I still had lots of fun with my friend there. Ah the Seilbahn is 5 minutes away aaand Hallstaat is about an hour, although I don't recommend leaving the heaven of this place and going to the touristic horror of Hallstaat.

Located in a quiet bay right at the shore of Lake Wolfgang, the 4-star superior Cortisen is the first boutique hotel in the Salzkammergut region. Wi-Fi access is available free of charge. Perfect lake getaway. Lawn and deck in the back gave excellent access to the lake. Lovely dining and lounging options, breakfast was a dream. Staff was personable and ever-present to refresh drinks as needed. Looking forward to coming back.
