El Hotel Schachner está situado en la localidad de Maria Taferl, cerca de la basílica. Ofrece vistas a los Alpes y al río Danubio. Where to start? Amazing location with beautiful views. We could just sit and enjoy the views. Tasty food, we had breakfasts and dinners and the food was just great, rich variations, tasty vegetables and fruits, fine wine.. Staff was helpful, whatever we needed, they tried to help. There were a lot of small things, like you don't need to clean your room, you get the present, but all the small things make it to wonderful experience. Swimming pool was next to the second building of the hotel, just some meters to walk, there was refreshment, table tennis, bedminton.. We will come again, definitely.

Hotel Schloss Dürnstein enjoys a unique location on a rock high above the Danube River, at the heart of the Wachau World Heritage Site, offering a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the Danube and... excellent. if the location was with the view of the river would have been even better
