The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. We had a really good stay, unfortunately only for one night. Was so good to walk into a bright airy clean room, with everything you need for a lovely break by the sea. Even had a balcony with a view. Just what we needed. After staying at several not so good places. Thank you ladies. Anyone looking to book, you won’t go wrong!

It is a lovely roomy property. We had everything we needed in a great location. The staff was exceptionally helpful.

Set on over 140 acres of native forest and boasting a private beach, Thala Beach Nature Reserve is an Eco-friendly wildlife retreat. Everything. It's so understated and beautiful. No review adequately expressed how relaxing beautiful and comfortable the reserve is. Rainforest walks, beach walks , swimming pools, restaurant, bar staff, special shout out to Jay! This is a place to return to.

The apartment was very nice and comfortable in a good location to walk to the main street or the beach very easily. It was nice to have space to spread out and to cook our own meals.

Featuring an outdoor heated pool and BBQ area with outdoor seating and tropical gardens, this hidden gem of a motel is just a 12-minute walk from Four Mile Beach. Easy car access and check-in. Lovely staff at reception! Comfy, big apartment and really clean. Loved the amenities provided! There is crockery and cutlery available and the microwave and small fridge in the room is really useful. There is a heated pool and camp bbq. Would definitely recommend!
