It’s a beautiful oasis of calm, warmth and style in a quiet part of Belize. One can see that Francois the owner who was such a welcoming and interesting host, has put her heart and soul into this place and it has paid off. I can’t imagine there is a more special place than this in Belize city. We would stay here again in a heart beat!

We loved the quiet 2-bedroom 2nd floor unit that had a spacious living room and kitchen. We enjoyed the location which was easily accessible from the water taxi by the golf cart that we rented. The pier gave us easy access to all of the snorkeling trips that we went on.

Overall, the hotel room was a pleasant surprise in regard to what facilities they offered! The room was huge, with a kitchen and a bar, and the kitchen had all the utensils you would need to feel at home: huge fridge, microwave, stove and you could even bake your own coffee-cakes! We didn't even dream of doing this, but if you stay a long time and start missing home food - why not!:) The location is very good - close to the Belize Express harbour, but also not in the noisy part of the island, if you want to rest at night.

El Caribbean Villas Hotel, en San Pedro, ofrece un lugar lleno de paz y tranquilidad a 10 minutos a pie por la playa de San Pedro, con sus pintorescas tiendas, restaurantes y vida nocturna. I stayed here on a solo trip for 10 days and from the very first minute, everyone made me feel at home. I happened to arrive on a Monday when the locals host Trivia night, so it was a great chance to meet other people (not just other travelers, but a lot of locals hang out at the bar/restaurant). Glenn at the bar was amazing. I wanted a relaxed vacation and it's exactly what I got. Also, the food at the restaurant is fenomenal! Go for the full lobster, you won't regret it! The beach was clean, they have a team clearing up the seaweed before sunrise. Speaking of sunrise, I got up at 6am every morning to watch the sunrise at the beach, and the hotel has the coffee out ready for you to drink it as you rise. I honestly can't wait to come back, it was the home away from home!

Pool is nice as well as little bungalows right next to it. Wifi was ok. Only 400m from the water taxi. Quiet at night. Little supermarket right next to hotel.
