Château Salavaux is gelegen in Salavaux, op 20 km van Forum Fribourg, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. This is an amazing hotel. The room is beautiful and comfortable, all staff are attentive, and the food is incredible! Really worth it! Big parking place, dogs were accepted and could join in the restaurant.

Schloss Münchenwiler ligt in Murten, op 24 km van Bern, en beschikt over gratis WiFi. Er is privéparkeergelegenheid bij de accommodatie. Especially breakfast, room was also ok but I didn't find any channel in English or French in the TV. I was looking at the Olympics and it was ok in German this time.

Hotel Adler is gevestigd in een historisch gebouw dat voor het eerst genoemd werd in 1396, waar ooit beroemde mensen als Casanova en Goethe verbleven. This hotel is impressive for its heritage: first documented as a hotel in the 14C. But despite some intentional remnants in the building, the rooms have been modernized by a designer with excellent style and taste. No indication that the room was any older than a few years! We had a room with a small kitchen and courtyard view, but it was spacious and very quiet - couldn't even hear any noise from the restaurant right below. Murten is a charming medieval town that is worth stopping in for a night when the tourists are gone and the atmosphere is special.

Dit 3-sterrenhotel Murtenhof & Krone is gevestigd in een middeleeuws patriciërshuis in het oude centrum van Murten en beschikt over een terras met een prachtig uitzicht op het meer van Murten. Mooi gelegen in het oude gedeelte van de stad. Een vriendelijke ontvangst door een medewerker die onze moedertaal sprak. Dat gaf nog een extra welkomst-gevoel. Ondanks het slechte weer op dat moment een fijne plek om te zijn, met een prachtig uitzicht op het meer.
