Bike hire is available at this guest house and the area is popular for cycling. Owners were really nice and helpful. The room was so spacious and homely. I felt so happy to go back to a nice place every day. The room was cleaned every day and it was really clean and comfortable. It was a short walk to the centre but that was no big deal. I felt safe in this town. I loved everything about Ckuri!

Great location, quiet and a little distance away from the town. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The breakfast is good and varies: sometimes bread, sometimes pancakes. 😋 The gardens are filled with places to sit and relax, to take in the pretty desert scenery. The lodge is at walking distance to Pukara de Quitor. We hired Ani’s bikes and took in some of the trails close to the lodge, including Quebrada del Diablo. Ani, her family and her staff are super friendly and kind. Nicky the dog is lovely too and enjoys the occasional ear massage. Ani made us a snack pack when we went out early to visit the geysers, complete with a lovely hand drawn message! We initially booked for three nights, but extended to a full week because there is so much to see in the area AND because the Lodge is inviting and peaceful. We were able to catch up on some much needed sleep. In short: Everybody worked hard to make sure that our stay was good, and it certainly was. We will DEFINITELY visit again and highly recommend Anka Lodge.
