The decor is eclectic and wonderful, our suite (room 12) was spacious and had an extremely comfortable king bed. Breakfast was on the terrace and included fresh orange juice, scrambled eggs, and pesto tomatoes along with the usual breads, cheese and meat. Delicious.

The private bedroom was very clean and bed very comfortable. The private bathroom was super clean also. There’s a kitchen available for use, a washing machine for laundry and a line to hang clothes for drying. The lady who manages the hostel is very nice and welcoming. She speaks clearly and slowly, which allows someone with basic Spanish to understand. There’s a friendly cat that I liked having around. The location is a 5 minute walk from O’Higgins Plaza. One issue is the noise from the water pump that turns on and off every 5 seconds. This can be a bother at night if you have the room that is closest to it. Overall, a good experience. 10/10

Casa Puente Hotel Boutique bevindt zich in Valparaíso, op 1,8 km van Playa Caleta Portales, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. The hotel is a beautiful art installation. The room was big and comfortable, as was the bed. It was beautifully furnished and decorated like all of the hotel. There are spaces to sit and enjoy the place, inside and out on the big terrace. Good views down and across the valley. Good breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Parking is a short step away in a secure location. The area is Cerro Alegere, one of the nicer bits of Valparaiso, with lots of restaurants and street art. It is easy to get down to the centre of town on the bay.

Cabañas & Hostal Tojika biedt gratis WiFi en een tuin in Hanga Roa, op 1,8 km van Tahai. Het antropologisch museum van Hanga Roa ligt op 2,1 km afstand. Er is gratis privéparkeergelegenheid. Casa Wilson is een accommodatie aan de oceaan en biedt zowel kamers als een cabine in Zapallar. Er is directe toegang tot het strand via het kustpad, op slechts 3 minuten lopen. Location was superb and the family who owns the Casa were very welcoming and helpful. Guests had full use of facilities in a gorgeous location.

El Navegante B&B biedt accommodatie in Valparaíso, op 100 m van de Gervasoni Walk, en beschikt over een bar en gratis WiFi. Breakfast included was nothing special, but was nice to have included. Great location for exploring Valpo.
