Set in an ancient building, the property is designed in a creative combination of oriental and western style. Guests can enjoy free WiFi throughout the property. Staying at Heitan was a lovely experience allowing a calming and relaxed getaway from Xiamen city. It was lovely to drink tea under the trees in the courtyard and to bask in the atmosphere. The staff at the hotel were also very friendly and helpful, they kindly met us at the pier from where our ferry arrived and helped direct us to the hotel. As it was winter solstice, they also kindly made us delicious tang yuan to celebrate.

Xiamen C&D is located a 10-minute drive from Gaoqi International Airport. The luxurious hotel offers a fitness centre, an indoor pool and free parking. We love everything about this place. We're mostly impressed is the friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk staff. We arrived in wee hours in the morning after 20+ hours of travel. We were absolutely exhausted. I remember her name is 小赵。 She explained where is the our room, the breakfast service, booked a shuttle to bring our baggage to the room , and reserved a airport shuttle service, all with a smile on her face.

Excellent communication, excellent staff understanding and assistance, gorgeous historic facility (Qing dynasty-era courtyard building, fully restored with care), all the basic necessities (shampoo, body soap, house slippers, linens, etc) provided in the room, along with free wifi and a TV in the room. My room was tiny, but for one person seeking to discover a new place, it was perfect. I love how they turned part of the original room into the divided-off washroom (wet room, which was great). Bed was quite firm, akin to a yoga block, but comfortable. Room was very clean, as was the entire facility. A fridge / freezer and electric kettle are available for guest usage in the room where one checks in. The area in which the property is situated in calm, and near enough to walk to some restaurants and supermarkets. I was able to take advantage of their moto-rental service (driving licence + international licence required). Staff are, again, excellent, professional, helpful, kind. Highly recommended.

Kempinski Hotel Xiamen ligt op 15 minuten rijafstand van de veerboothaven Gulangyu. The breakfast was amazing, WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Located near the famous Coffee Street, Marco Polo Xiamen is a 20-minute drive to Xiamen International Airport and also close to the business district. We had a pleasant stay. As usual the staff is very nice and helpful. The room is comfy and the hotel has all the facilities you could ask for. Great breakfast buffet.

The location is right by the mountain and the river, with lights along the water at night. I was welcome with a gift set of local tea and snacks. The staff was really helpful (available on WeChat almost 24/7) and warm. The DaHongPao night show is 15 min away by walk as well. If you go to Wuyishan, go to that hotel.
