Located along the historic Qintai Path, Chengdu Wenjun Mansion Hotel (Kuanzhai Xiangzi Branch) is decorated in a traditional Chinese style, a 5-minute walk from Tonghuimen Subway Station (Line 2). We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was great for getting around. A big thank you to Belle, Juliya, Vivi, and Joey for being so friendly and helpful — they made us feel very welcome. We’d definitely stay again!

Staff very helpful. Room very clean and spacious with nice view of the city. Access to gym and pool, both well equipped.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! It’s modern, stylish, and really well located — just a few steps from Jinli Old Street and Wuhou Shrine. Check-in and check-out were super quick and easy (and the 1pm checkout time was such a nice bonus!). They even reached out to me before my arrival which made things more comfortable. Once you’re checked in, you can just message the front desk on WeChat — super convenient and responsive. The room itself was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed. It had everything I needed, plus a complimentary mini bar! Even though it’s right on a busy street, the hotel is very quiet inside, so you still get a peaceful night’s sleep. Breakfast was great — a mix of continental and Chinese optionss, and they kept refilling everything. There’s also a really cozy tea area where you can relax, and they even have Hanfu you can try on, which fits the vibe and you can take some photos ☺️ But honestly, what made my stay perfect was the staff. Every single person I met — from reception to the breakfast room to the cleaning staff — was so kind, warm, and helpful. I was traveling solo and had no tour group, which can be tricky in China without a local number, but they went above and beyond to help me out. They took the time to explain things, helped me plan a day trip, even assisted me with buying tickets. Another day, they helped me figure out how to visit a local spot and make it back in time for my train — they were just amazing. I really appreciated the help and the patience. It made my time in Chengdu more enjoyable. It’s also super easy to get around. Two subway stations are nearby, and calling a Didi from there is effortless — I got one within seconds at 5:30 in the morning to go to the station. Overall, it’s a beautiful, comfortable hotel with an incredible team. I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for — I’d recommend it 100%.

Het personeel was geweldig zo behulpzaam met alles, ondanks dat sommige nog niet geheel de Engelse taal machtig zijn. Maar ze staan altijd klaar om je te helpen. Ontbijt en speciale lounge acces gedeelte ook super geregeld.
