Posada Old Town Bay bevindt zich aan het strand in Providencia. De herberg heeft een terras en een 24-uursreceptie. Er is iedere ochtend een continentaal ontbijt beschikbaar bij de herberg. I loved the people, breakfast and the location. They arrange trips and it helps a lot!

Deze herberg aan het strand ligt in Providencia op het eiland Santa Catalina en biedt een schilderachtig uitzicht op de oceaan. Fort Warwick ligt op slechts 5 minuten lopen. The host Francisca was very nice and helpful with organizing activities like diving and things like water and scooters. The Posada was very clean with big units consisting of 2 rooms and sea view. Nice jetty in front of the house.

Dit resort heeft een zonneterras met directe toegang tot de oceaan en biedt tevens een buitenzwembad. De kamers hebben een eigen balkon met hangmatten. Het strand Agua Dulce ligt op 500 meter afstand.... The cabanas are lovely, set in a nice garden with even a pool that is useful after a day at the beach. The interior of the cabanas is basic but they are clean, spacious, with fridge and air conditioning and an outdoor space. The staff is friendly and helpful and the included breakfast is good and complete. I had read negative reviews and honestly don't see the point. The beach in front no longer exists because of the hurricane that hit the island a few years ago, the bar/restaurant La Terrazza in front offers sunset views and really good cocktails. Providencia is still an island little exploited by mass tourism, but there is a lot of restaurants , especially on the beach, really nice and good, with delicious fish and lobster. There are sunflies and mosquitos but with a good repellent they are kept away 😉
