It is in the foothills of the Llanos de Cáceres and Sierra de Fuentes National Park and includes air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Its location is perfect. The hosts are incredibly nice and made us feel at home. They work very hard balancing their small coffee shop in the hotel’s lobby, their boutique hotel (and raising their young family). Getting to know them was great. Their breakfast rooms are incredibly clean.

The soundproofed rooms in the property are large, bright and elegant. They a flat-screen satellite TV, minibar, coffee machine, laptop safe and ironing facilities. The bathroom comes with a bath, shower and professional hairdryer. The staff were very welcoming and helpful - both for check-in and for information both at the hotel and for activities I needed to take care of in Badajoz. The breakfast is fantastic - lots to choose from and very good quality.

This accommodation is situated in a majestic building, an old convent dating from the 17th century, in Valle del Ambroz in the north of the province of Cáceres.

The hotel has been renovated but has preserved impressive spaces such as the cloister. It is spacious accommodation that enjoys plenty of natural light and spectacular views of the mountains and town. Very close from all the sites. Very nice surroundings to walk around and take pictures. The staff especially Christina went out of her way to drive us to the bus terminal : something to remember

Our second stay here at this fabulous Castillo and it won’t be our last (hopefully!). A truly magnificent and atmospheric castle, loaded with history, but also modern day comforts like great heating, hot water and wifi. We splashed out on the Presidential Suite this time and it was definitely worth it. Great views out of the windows, very good shower and a comfortable bed. We were driving from Bilbao to Tarifa and it made the perfect half way stop over. No suppers provided but a grand old kitchen you are welcome to use to cook up your own food. Plus help yourself to breakfast in the morning. Easy, safe parking for our large van. We loved it - 10/10 Thank you

Breakfast was plentiful and fresh the lady even cooking us omelette one day then egg and bacon another .The whole hotel very clean very comfortable beds and fridge that actually got drinks very cold which is a first for us in over thirty years traveling Spain wonderful.plenty of lovely places to visit .Recommend this hotel very highly so much going back for another 5 days on return journey.
