Staff was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable even with non common questions. 24-hour coffee and refreshments is a nice bonus, and having a Starbucks branch just next to the entrance, too. The little surprise bag in the mornings is another cool gesture.

There was a nice welcome plate of cheese and jamon, and the breakfast included a wonderful spread of pretty much everything you might want. The hotel is also well-located, within walking distance of great museums, El Retiro Park, and central Madrid. I would be happy to stay there again.

It is old, but all spaces are perfectly maintained. The terraces on the top floor are fantastic, and the service there is excellent. Amparo, the woman who cleaned our room, and Lucía, who runs the bar on the top floor, were kind and very professional: our room was spotless, and on the terraces and lounges of the top floor we enjoyed drinks and a football match on a large TV.
