The staff was very friendly, and helpful to English speakers who know no French. The food (we had supper and breakfast) was wonderful and delicious! The rooms were impeccably clean. The view from the queen with balcony room is marvelous. The town is quiet and buccolic. The decor in the cafe was captivating.

El Mas de la Beaume, situado en Gordes, cuenta con piscina al aire libre y vistas al valle de Luberon y a la cordillera de Alpilles. Mas de la Beaume was such a pleasant, lovely surprise. I wasn't 100% sure what it was going to be like from the listing, but this hotel is such a lovely paradise. The owners have put in so much care and detail into all aspects to really make it feel special. We enjoyed breakfast on our patio every morning overlooking the grounds and the Luberon valley beyond. It was beautiful and a time we looked forward to each morning! We enjoyed a takeout dinner one night from a local restaurant and enjoyed the pool deck while having dinner soaking in the sunset. It was beautiful! We walked into Gordes every day, and received such great insights & recommendations from the owner!

The home itself is beautiful and full of charm, perfectly located, and surrounded by the peaceful, enchanting little community Les Huguets (near Roussillon). The garden is a little piece of paradise and perfect for relaxation. Reading a book by the pool with a glass of chilled rosé while listening to the song of cicadas, it's a dream:) Breakfasts were always a lovely start for the day, but the real highlight was the hosts' home-cooked dinners and yummy desserts. Every meal was a perfect and beautifully presented. If we could give more than 10 points, we absolutely would — definitely a 10+ experience. We’re already planning when we can come back.
