It started with the check-in and the woman in the reception, who was very kind, helpful and informative. A driver took us from the port to the hotel, and we received our room before check-in time. Breakfast was very good, the swimming pool was the best. The location is very close to the old city center. The view from our room was amazing, right on the sea. We had lovely sunsets view. Everything was very clean, all the staff was very helpful and kind. They prepared 3 breakfast boxes for us for the day we left in the early morning. Bottom line - on our next trip to Mykonos, we will definitely stay there.

Matina Hotel is an excellent choice for those wishing to explore the world famous night life of the island, and at the same time enjoy moments of relaxation. Matina Hotel, though located right in the heart of Mykonos Town (Chora), is in a relatively quiet part where there are no shops or dining places, so it is ideal for older people like us. The place is quaint, with a garden in the middle, and a garden set in front the rooms where guests can sit and chat at night.

Free airport/port transfer is also provided from 7:00 to 23:00. Amazing experience where we got to know the owner of the resort and he was very generous where he offered us to pick one of the rooms from the hotel and the location of the hotel is very strategic and convenient where you can stay in a calm area and yet have all the facilities next to you. The breakfast was astonishing where all the flavors are authentic with premium food quality. Also they offered us free shuttle from/to airport and we used the shuttle to go down to the town directly from hotel. Also we rented a car from the reception directly because they do know the car rental companies and it was a magical experience in all purposes and I would highly recommend that hotel.
