No passing-by traffic, no noise at night, pleasantly cool, we did not even use the aircondition available. The Panormos beach is quite advantageous, you can swim in crystal-clear waters even when north winds blow, as it is protected by the hills around it. Plenty of excellent choices for food and drinks there, too, you don't really have to drive in order to get to a nice restaurant. This accommodation is a prime example why I like to book small apartment from locals instead of going to a huge many star hotel. Filippa (the host) is absolutely kind and welcoming. We got a small welcome treat and cold water when we arrived and a little goodbye gift when we left. We got recommendations and answers to all our questions regarding the island. The location is perfect, shops and restaurants are close by, but it is still quiet with an excellent view (especially at night). The room was clean and the beds were really comfy.
