We stayed very short time at the hotel and during our stay everything was perfect. They have nice open buffet dinner available in the Lime restaurant and it is a very good value for money. The property itself is stunning and the rooms are quiet and beautiful as well. Food in both restaurants is exceptional. The quality of the spa treatments is really good and last but not least: reception staff is going out of their way to accomodate all of their guests wishes. We had a few special requirements due to changes in our travel plan and John and Anita were ever so helpful and made everthing happen without batting an eye. I would book this hotel again for sure and can not recommend it enough.

Hotel Majapahit is Surabaya's equivalent of Singapore's Raffles at a fraction of the price. I'll probably never experience the 5-star luxury of the Singaporean version and the Hotel Majapahit obviously cannot offer the same standard as they hopefully do. Nevertheless my stay at Hotel Majapahit was incredible. Hotel Majapahit is a grand hotel on a 3-star hotel price. Our room was charmingly old-fashioned and very spacious, the bathroom was incredible with a bathtub, shower cabin and toilet cubicle. We had a terrace with a garden view. The hotel is huge and one can imagine how lively it must have been in the old days. The swimming pool area was very pleasant and the pool and spa's catering and staff were amazing. Our breakfast at Restaurant Indigo was good and the staff were very kind and very professional. Walking through this historical building and being part of it even if only for one night was something never to be forgotten.

The room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the mountains. The spa was a true highlight, offering an amazing retreat with its hot and cold jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna. Although the pool was quite cold, it was still a great spot to relax as well as the breakfast is good and varied breakfast . I would definitely choose this hotel for another stay.

The breakfast was amazing with many choices of Indonesian food. The hotel clearly supports Indonesian culinary for the guests. Amenities were good and we can get water from a dispenser outside the room. It was such a nice service that the guests don't need to ask for water from the hotel as the tap water in Indonesia was undrinkable.
