Deli River Hotel is approximately a 50-minute drive from Kuala Namu International Airport. The famous Lake Toba is about 4 to 5-hour journey by car from the hotel. Just a lovely place to stay. Staff were extremely helpful, food was excellent and the gardens are magnificent.

The hotel is a 5-minute drive from Medan Train Station and an hour's drive from Kuala Namu International Airport. Facilities and room very nice, breakfast really good. Perfect location.

Facing the seafront, Romlan is a guest house offering a 3-star accommodation in Tuk Tuk. It has a private beach area, garden and private parking. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, luggage storage space and room service, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. Everything perfect, except there was a communication gap issue, so I was for Saturday transferred to a lower rated place at same price.

The cheaper rooms are basic but big and very comfortable. Has access to the lake in a quiet area. Their food is really good. Difficult to find anything better for the price. 100% recommended

This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The homestay features family rooms. Peaceful and tucked away, this is a wonderful place to call home for a week or more! The cabins have a forest or waterfront location, with a terrace and hammock to call your own. There’s A/C, hot water, and fast WiFi. The dining area is beautifully set on the water, with snorkelling available directly out front. The food is excellent, but it’s the staff who really shine: Annie, Teatree, and Boy really went that extra mile to make our stay perfect! I would love to come back.

The property offers a shuttle service and features a garden and picnic area. Everything was great. The room was very clean, the bed is comfy, the lake view from the balcony was incredible! The host is extremely friendly and always ready to help with anything. They even provide scooters for the rent (cheaper than other places)

Guests can make use of the business centre or relax in the snack bar. We loved our stay at Freddie's! We came here on our honeymoon, and it was amazing. We got in earlier than check-in time and planned on hanging out at the restaurant until check-in time. While eating (the delicious food and coffee), Freddie came up to us and congratulated us and told us he would get us into our villa early and even invited us into his private residence to wait comfortably (which is gorgeous). The villa itself was beautiful and right on the beach. There is a mini mart on the premises that has everything you might need. While staying at the villa, you can order food and get it delivered, and it's still hot! We received a delicious breakfast every day. The staff are absolutely awesome. My husband made good friends with them, and we were invited to a BBQ and other activities with them, where they showed us the local culture and food. The beach is perfect for snorkeling! There is so much beautiful sea life right outside the villa. We rented a motorbike and drove around the island to explore outside of the villa as well. Freddie helped us set up a taxi to get back to the port and was up bright and early with us to wish us goodbye. Highly recommend staying here! :)

Set in Bukit Lawang in the Sumatra region, Junia Guesthouse Bukit Lawang has a patio. With river views, this accommodation features a balcony. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was super comfy, my private outside space was huge and beautiful. The staff were always friendly and smiley and incredibly helpful. The food was delicious and the coffee was hot. I was made to feel very welcome. The hotel is located in a beautiful spot by the river and within walking distance of the jungle, a paradise that I didn't want to leave. My guide wisnu (Nu) was fabulous, he made my holiday absolutely perfect. He took me to the best places and was always happy, smiley and friendly, with lots of knowledge of the area. Not just a guide to me now, I also consider him a friend. He's given me some of my best memories and I can't thank him enough. I highly recommend Junia hotel to everyone. I'm a solo traveler, but this place is perfect for couples and families alike. I genuinely did not want to leave and as soon as I can, I will be back. Thank you guys for everything xxx
