We had a great stay at Leenane Hotel. It's a very well maintained place with great rooms, excellent food and friendly staff. It's also dog friendly which is a rare thing in the area. What really stood out as well - the price we paid was more than fair.

We had a very pleasant stay at this bed and breakfast just outside Galway. The room was spacious and clean, and the beds were especially comfortable so we slept very well. The location near the lake was a real plus, making it easy to reach both Connemara National Park and Galway city without much driving. The host was friendly and helpful without being overbearing, and the breakfast each morning was tasty and satisfying. Overall, a wonderful and comfortable place to stay if you're exploring the area.

Great location near the main street of Clifden. Geniune family run B&B. Our hosts treated us as almost like family. Gave us a good pointers for places for dinner. Wonderful breakfast. Very glad we stayed with them.

Rossroe Lodge B&B se encuentra en Canower, en la región de Condado de Galway, a 21 km de Memorial de Alcock and Brown. Rossroe Lodge was lovely in every way! Very appealing layout to ensure privacy, absolutely spotless room with en-suite, and a charming common room with very good selection of books & DVDs. The dining room for breakfast and dinner was bright and airy with windows facing the water! Heated floors and excellent soundproofing offered added comfort, as the weather was chilly and windy. The grounds are well groomed with spectacular blooming flowers. The neighboring property had 4 healthy cows whose lifestyle we enjoyed watching. The bay in front of the property was always visible even in foggy weather: the water is so close to the house! Built up, the dwelling would not flood. Parking was roomy and secure but not visible from the bedrooms. The hosts, Mary and Sylvaine, were the best feature of all. Friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and always respectful of guest privacy. This wonderful couple set the tone for our stay. The breakfasts were delicious as well as the dinners. Mary did laundry for us and offered an apple pie breakfast the morning we left early for Galway Harbor.

Hillside Lodge is beautifully located, just a couple of kilometres outside Clifden, on the Sky Road, which has breathtaking views! I got a lovely warm welcome from Ruth and was blown away by my room, which had a U2 theme, and was beautifully decorated, with such attention to detail! Even the corridor outside the room is a music gallery with so much memorabilia to view! It's plain to see that Ruth and Stuart give their all to make their B&B unique. I've stayed in many places, but this place stands out, for sure. Beautifully cooked breakfast too. I cannot recommend this place enough!
