The place is just amazing. A beautiful house in a surrounded by trees. Fully equipped kitchen. Families were cooking dinner as if they were in their home. Buffet breakfast was simple but delicious! We wish we could stay for more than just one night!

The living room is great to spend some time together in the evening after a long day travelling around the Golden Circle. The decor is a bit vintage, but it feels really cosy and totally worth the price. The apartment is well equipped for a shorter or longer stay. The city is quite small and the apartment is quite central, so you can easily access a great Food Hall for example. The host was really nice :)

Located in Reykholt, The White House provides accommodation with access to a garden. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. Gullfoss waterfall is a 30-minute drive away. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. This stat was everything we could’ve hoped for—warm, inviting, and full of thoughtful touches that made it truly special. The host were incredibly welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed while giving us a space to relax and unwind. The home itself was cozy, beautifully decorated, and filled with little details that showed how much care went into creating a comfortable atmosphere . The White House Inn was just perfect for our group trip and I will definitely return. If you’re looking for a place it feels like home away from home this is it.

Featuring a bar and shared lounge, Hótel Laugarvatn is 15 minutes’ drive from Thingvellir National Park. WiFi and parking are free. Really enjoyed the hotel! Lovely view of the lake and we got a bigger room than what we booked which was fantastic. Great lounge area and a nice restaurant with reasonable prices.
