The fjord is a gem and the place is truly great. We hiked a bit and saw incredible sunsets. The host is very nice and helpful. Located in the fishing village of Patreksfjördur with panoramic views of the fjord, this guesthouse has free WiFi and a guest kitchen. Room size is in line with most rooms in Iceland. If you are 2, you'll have to manage with not having your bags open all the time. Common kitchen and living room are great. Breakfast was one of the best in our trip. Common baths were enough, luckily we did not have to wait to shower. Not in walking distance from supermarket, but very close to Stukuhusid nice restaurant and the public swimming pool, both great.

This hotel, opened in June 2013, is situated along the coast in Patreksfjordur, a fishing village in Iceland’s Westfjords. It offers an à la carte restaurant with a bar and daily breakfast buffet. The room was really clean and the shower was roomy. Bed was so comfortable. Had a fridge which is a nice bonus on a road trip with perishable items. The breakfast buffet in the morning was great....it had all the things. The staff at the front desk were sincerely friendly and helpful.
