This is one of those times when I'd like to give an even higher rating. Very friendly, very comfortable, and waking beside a window with a stunning view. Truly lovely.

Located on a family owned sheep farm, Saudafell Guesthouse offers accommodation in Sauðafell. Free WiFi and free private parking are available on site. The rural setting was perfect for us; we loved being on a working farm. The home was warm and inviting! We arrived when other guests were making their dinners in the full kitchen. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the farm. The hosts were lovely and were able to share helpful information and suggestions!

Stóra-Vatnshorn is located 500 metres from the historic Eiríksstadir site and 17 km from Búdardalur village. Love the farm own cottages and we can hear the sheep talking and the horse nearby you. All facilities can use and clean. This cottage is very good.

We truly enjoyed every moment at Nyp! The setting is peaceful and beautiful. The house itself is very spacious and has everything you need. The meals are the best we have had in our visit to Iceland. We had two dinners and two breakfasts. The food was fresh, organic, and delicious. I wish we had stayed longer. The hosts are friendly, kind and helpful. They were very good at advising us about where to visit in the area.

The area is so quiet and peaceful, and the view is amazing. The cottage is very spacious and has a great terrace. We arrived early to catch the creamery open as well (open 13-17), and the ice cream was worth it. Communication was easy with the host, and everything was smooth with the check-in/check-out.
