Other facilities include karaoke rooms and a lounge bar. A souvenir shop can be found on the ground floor. Everything was great, we could enjoy some authentic hospitability. Our traditional style room was very nice and surprisingly comfortable. The staff was well trained, professional, and polite. We have been picked up at the bus station and brought to the hotel on arrival, as well on our way back. We could enjoy the public and private onsen as well which as a very nice experience, especially seeing Mt. Fuji from the private onsen as a small family. The kaiseki diner we had after bathing was superb, and it was an experience on it's own. Even we only spent one night there, we could relax and wind down. We opted to take the cable car nearby to see Mt. Fuji, and rented some bikes to cycle around the other day before we departed from the town.

The couple who run the ryokan are lovely and the setting is tranquil. The rooms are authentic and huge and very relaxing. It's an easy walk to Yudanaka Station where there is a bus to the Snow Monkeys and the Sorra Terrace.
The food offered for dinner and breakfast were outstanding. The staff, with their limited English, managed to make the stay exceptional and always went the extra step to make me feel comfortable even though communication from my end was shaky!! The onsens were so relaxing !!At check out, they dropped me.to the station which was absolutely lovely.Best Place! Best People!
Lovely villa, facilities were amazing. Honestly, this beat our expectations! Lovely big jacuzzi, you can sit on your own private terrace with a big bed there. Absolutely loved it!
Most lovely helpful host imaginable. Drove us to the station and the start of our hike. Gave us a room upgrade as we were there in the quiet season
We stayed in a luxury tent in Kawaguchiko after climbing Mt. Fuji, and it was the perfect place to relax. The tent comfortably accommodated four people and had an equipped kitchen and barbecue. The private toilet was a bonus, and the shared bathroom was spacious and fully equipped. The location in the middle of the forest, with birds singing and spectacular views of the lake and Mt. Fuji, made it an extremely relaxing experience. Highly recommended for nature lovers!
Lovely accommodation, very relaxing, very spacious and chilled atmosphere. Kitchen is very big and lots of facilities to use, free tea and coffee and filter coffee in the mornings. Perfect view of Mount Fuji, and close to lake Kawaguchiko.
The rooms were beautiful. The staff incredibly attentive. And the private meals were amazing. Having our own Onsen in our room was a wonderful luxury. Though not extremely close to Nagano (an hour by train), the location is close to the train station to Nagano (a 10 minute walk) and very close to the Snow Monkey Park (a 15 minute ride) and mountain towns like Shibu. A lovely time - well worth the splurge.
Such an amazing experience and a beautiful place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and upgraded my room for free to a room with a garden view. Private bathrooms and a separate communal bathroom with a gorgeous stone bath, very relaxing. Took part in the meditation lesson with head monk Kaiji who was a lovely soul and very inspiring with his words. The meditation itself was very relaxing. Was sad I only stayed here 1 night.
Lovely, quiet location in the woods. Super peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed using the jacuzzi and booked the bbq package which included lots of food and we really enjoyed. Shared facilities for shower and toilet were all really clean. Pao had lots of space and was nice and warm.
such a beautiful atmosphere and the perfect place to stay to have a relaxing time in your own onsen! everything included was lovely and the staff were so helpful when we wanted to upgrade our room on arrival. Just do your research when you travel to the area as the transport is a change of pace compared to the city (times/delays).
