We had a spacious Japanese style room with very good amenities, including yokata, kotatsu, etc. Excellent location close to tourist attractions, especially Dogo Onsen. The host Hisa is very warm, friendly and attentive. He truly represents the exquisite and refined Japanese culture. He performed a tea ceremony with immense dexterity and finesse, and took the time to enlighten us about the local culture, art, etc. He also very generously offered us a delicious miso soup breakfast free of charge. Our stay here has been a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!!

The night view from our room and from the outdoor bath was spectacular. We forgot two items at the hotel, and the staff looked diligently to find them and mail them to us. There were no non-smoking rooms to reserve, but the staff had made sure that there was no odor in our room. The shuttle service was exceptional.
