Amazing guesthouse in the mountains. We had the best time at Raicho onsen inn. The stuff was super nice and helpful. The room was nice and you would find everything you need. There are three onsen that you can reserve for private use. Everything was super clean and the outdoor onsen was a very special experience. One could hike directly from the guesthouse or take a bus from the bus stop nearby. We came with public transport from Tokyo and it was totally doable. Worth the way! We bought some food at Matsumoto and cooked everyday in the shared kitchen. There was even some food there that you could buy to make a meal.

The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

El B&B Hotel Hyochoan, inaugurado en agosto de 2012, ofrece alojamientos sencillos de estilo occidental. We had our wedding at Stone Church, and since all the hotels near the church were fully booked, we chose to stay at the nearby B&B Hyochoan. Our entire stay was filled with warmth and love. We arrived late at around 9 p.m. because we took the wrong Shinkansen, but the hosts were waiting for us and even came out to greet us and help with our luggage from the taxi. Inside, hot tea was waiting for us, and they kindly explained the room’s features. In the morning, we were treated to a delicious and thoughtfully prepared Japanese breakfast. When we were about to leave, we mentioned we were there for our wedding, and the elderly hosts surprised us with a gift of a bottle of wine! Their invoice was also thoughtfully printed, including a photo of us taken during our stay and some local sightseeing recommendations. The house was very clean, with a spacious backyard full of greenery, which was an unexpected delight! For the area, the price was the most reasonable and fair. Highly recommended!

Habitación amplia y cómoda, se duerme en futones. Fotos precisas. Aunque en la reserva indica baño compartido se refiere al onsen: la habitación tiene inodoro privado. Te dan yukatas para dormir y pasear por el pueblo. También set de toallas, incluyendo la toalla para el onsen. Disponen de las llaves para entrar a los 9 onsens de shibu (varias copias). Además, El alojamiento tiene también su propio onsen, por géneros, y luego uno al aire libre que puede reservarse para disfrutar de forma privada con tu pareja/familia. El Yasuragi es una pequeña posada de 6 habitaciones con comida de Ryokan e interiores acogedores. Everything! The private onsens, the traditional dinner with 10 courses, the host was very kind and welcoming. The room was very nice, clean, traditional ryokan one. I slept like a badger :)) Yukata are provided in the room and you can wear them throughout the village. The bathroom just next to the room, but it was private. It is a typical Japanese washlet with all the buttons and confort. There is even a mini fridge and aircon. You can pay by credit card or cash. Will love to go back again!
