Spacious table-seating in the dining room, all tables having a view of the garden (really a park-like setting) and a menu that deserves an international rating at the highest levels, and that applies to both dinner (the landscape outside the glass wall is softly illuminated) and breakfast that offers Western coffee selections and the best of Japanese tea. We booked two nights and we were delightfully surprised to find that both the dinner and breakfast menus were varied. The wait staff and chefs paced the meal to our habits, and as English-speaking guests we never were challenged in communications.

It is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The ambient, design are beautiful and the services are friendly. The dedicated theme park access gate and next to Lawson convenient store is a plus point for the stay.

Overall a great experience!

Hotel Monterey Nagasaki is a 2-minute walk from the Oura Kaigan Dori Tram Stop. Featuring Portuguese elements in the hotel’s architecture and decor, it offers 2 restaurants and rooms with free internet. JR Nagasaki Station is a 20-minute tram ride away. Room was small, but met our needs, room was clean and comfortable, car parking was very convenient at the basement of the hotel, staffs are friendly and helpful.

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Saikaibashi in Sasebo has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden. Boasting free shuttle service, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. The accommodation offers a hot spring bath, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The onsen was wonderful, beautiful, clean and well attended. Breakfast and dinner buffets were great with so many great choices and excellent presentation. The hotel staff was accommodating and explained things that were unfamiliar to us. The hotel itself has a beautiful location and is well maintained.

Although this property is not located in central Nagasaki, guests can enjoy the views of the ocean and sunrise as well as the surrounding nature at Nagasaki House Burabura. The property features free WiFi, a restaurant and barbecue. It was a cozy place about 25 minutes by bus and then a 10-minute walk from the Nagasaki station. Since it is a bit out of the city and just by the ocean, we could enjoy an uninterrupted night sky as well as sunrise from our bed! The faculities are all good and they also have a kitchen for the guests! They also offer free drinks and bikes. There is a big grocery store about 15 minutes walk from the place as well. We also got a free room upgrade!

Rooms include a flat-screen TV, tea maker and private bathroom. Shuttle service to and from Nagasaki Station is available upon prior request. Mt. Inasayama is a major tourist attraction in Nagasaki. The hotel is located on the mountain and offers a grand view of Nagasaki Harbor and wharf especially at night. The staff are great, helpful and very polite. The facilities offer gorgeous views, several large baths (not onsen hot springs, but similar) a couple restaurant choices and a bar. Of course all the usual amenities are available. It's not the most modern hotel, but that's what gives it character. It was a fantastic choice for our last night in Nagasaki on this trip. We really enjoyed our stay and would book it again.
