Beautiful Ryokan in the mountains, away from the crowded center of Yufuin but still just few minutes walking from there. We booked the annex accommodation with private onsen, the room was amazing and just 30 sec from main building for even more intimacy. The staff is super kind and full of attention for us, they delivered my luggage to my room once it has been delivered and they were always helpful with anything and always smiling. They even offered to take a picture of us at the check out before we left on their beautiful terrace. The restaurant where we have the breakfast is small so you can enjoy quietly your delicious traditional Japanese breakfast, we had 2 different breakfast for for 2 days we stayed. And aln of it just in front of the wonderful view of Yufu mountain.

Boasting and classic Japanese ambience, Yufuin Santoukan provides traditional accommodation just a 5-minute drive from JR Yufu Station. The atmosphere is really calming, the staff is the friendliest and most helpful I’ve met, the food was exceptional and the onsen was just a dream. Staying at this ryokan was a total blast.
