Hermoso lugar y maravillosa experiencia! Me encantó todo, me pareció super completo y a un excelente precio según lo ofrecido. La cena y el desayuno alucinantes, muy abundante sobre todo el desayuno. Las instalaciones de Onsen son muy lindas aunque algo pequeñas, pero lo bueno es que son 24hs.

Tachibanaya se encuentra en Tsuruoka, a 24 km de Acuario Kamo Aquarium, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. The private onsen in the room is amazing! The window can be fully opened and we enjoy the mountain view and fresh air so much. Tachibahana location is great too. We can take a pleasant walk along the Atsui river and experience the mountain village life.

Location is very near Yamagata station, Room is very clean and wide for 2 people staying, we chose twin bed.

Winter closure of the open-air baths "Shirakaba-no-yu" (Late December - 28 February) Due to the accumulation of snow, the open-air bath will be closed during the winter. Hotel's free bus shuttle from Yamagata train station made it easy to commute to the hotel. The location is excellent within walking distance of snow/ski areas. We purchased Zao Ropeway passes from the hotel (cash only). Complimentary accesss to 2 Onsens and boots and coat was an added bonus! We also enjoyed our Japanese style family dinners at their on site restaurant. Staff was very helpful in calling various agencies to check ski lesson availability as most of the agencies spoke in Japanese only. They also helped us book a taxi on our way back to Yamagata train station as the shuttle service only operates twice a day. The rooms were large and beautiful with breathtaking views of the mountain trees covered in snow!
