He was so friendly and did a great job! Breakfast and dinner were incredibly tasty. You must visit the rooftop foot spa on a clear day, for a spectacular view of Mt Fuji and Kawaguchiko Lake. Convenient location, free shuttle from/to Kawaguchiko station, room and public onsen were incredibly clean, got to enjoy karaoke and I highly recommend the private bath with the view of Mt Fuji.

Exceptional property and well worth what we paid for it. Amazing views from the onsen (public and shared with other hotel guests, but both times we used it there was nobody there. Quite a private experience and it was great to watch the sun set!) The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were delicious and the experience was one we’ll never forget. The staff picked us up at Kawaguchiko station and brought our bags straight to our room after check in. We enjoyed the tea and snack while soaking in the views.10/10 would visit again!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. All the staff were extremely accommodating and pleasant. The dinner and breakfast were beyond expectations. The heated bathroom flooring was a very nice touch.

Free shuttle service is available upon prior request from the property to Kawaguchiko Station. Got the room with the Fuji view and wow it was so worth it. Very satisfied to have booked our stay here which included a pickup from Kawaguchiko station, easy to get to there via bus from Tokyo. Bikes were available to rent which was the highlight of our time here. Supermarket is a short walking distance. The house was comfortable and with any homestay/guesthouse we usually have earplugs so always had a restful sleep.

Fantastic location, comfortable beds, clean shared areas but most of all, amazing hosts. They helped me with planning for the days I stayed (Did a marvellous hike because they advised the specific loops I should take), and also just a blast to talk to about Japan, travelling or anything else. Cannot recommend enough.
