Na enkele dagen in Aguram Bay te zijn geweest was het heerlijk om hier te verblijven. De kamers zijn schoon, het bed is lekker en de douche heeft warm water (even minuut laten lopen). De familie die dit hotel runt is superlief en zorgzaam. Ze maakten een limoenshot voor m'n vriendin die buikpijn had, hebben onze was gewassen en hadden een net nieuwe scooter die we hebben geleend en die top rijdt en remt. Heeft ook goed licht voor de donkere wegen in de avond. Het ontbijt was ook heerlijk en het uitzicht vanaf de kamer en vanuit je bed is geweldig! Echt een dikke aanrader om hier te blijven. Ze zouden van mij meer geld hiervoor mogen vragen.

The location is close to restaurants, the town, and tuk tuk drivers. The staff was kind and helpful. The food was delicious. The rooms are comfortable.

The room is big and the view was exceptional. It's a small walk from the city center, but worth it for the amazing scenery. We were only able to stay one night, but the family who owns the hotel was so nice and welcoming. They picked us up from the train station and offered to take us back to town in their tuktuk later that evening. We had a wonderful time here! We would love to stay again.

Little Paradise Homestay is really a paradise due to the family friendliness, unbelievable level of hygiene, the facilities availability and quality as well as the tasty big breakfast. It is the best homestay I have stayed in Sri Lanka in, during my vacation. The room and bashroom are spontaneously clean. The bed smells clean and it is comfortable. It has a mosquito net. There are sockets close to the bed for charging. All amenities from fridge, new hear dryer, new kettle, clothes hanger and nail cutter were available in the room. My room (in the ground floor) had a small space in front of it with chairs and table for enjoying the cool fresh air during the night and the morning ( to enjoy breakfast even more). The breakfast was big and with lots of variety to keep you full for a long time.The hosts speak good English and are very informative. I really enjoyed talking to the family and they were really helpful in answering my questions and arranging transportation at reasonable price.

Upon arrival, Imantha (the young son of the house) welcomes you with open arms and you feel at home. He is jovial, generous and extremely kind. it's a place where the family takes care of you. the room is spacious and the bed very comfortable. There is everything you need for a stay. If you are missing something, Imantha or her family will bring it back for you with no problem! Location: in the heart of the mountains, the room has a balcony with a superb view. It is located about 10 minutes from the center but no problem getting around! Imantha and her father have tuktuks and will arrange rides for you. we had a full tour program with them and it was great. Food: Imantha's mom cooks wonderfully! she cooks local dishes and the portions are very generous. The breakfast is amazing!! To sum up, Guest Inn Avendra is the perfect place if you want to create lasting memories with a local family. Nothing to do with a hotel, it's a place where conviviality, good humor and sharing reign. We are so glad we stayed there, and we will come back again. Don't miss the chance to make friends with Imantha, he's awesome. We recommend 100%!!!

We loved our 5 night stay at Cozy Homestay, hosted by Janith and his lovely family. Fantastic location, very peaceful but only 5 mins walk from the centre. Clean room, comfortable bed, modern bathroom, and very generous breakfasts on the terrace. Janith is a generous host, and helped us organise tuk tuk transfers to the start of hikes at Makulella (Pekoe Trail Stage 15) and Liptons Seat - both highly recommended. He also organised our onward transport for us to the south coast. Highly recommended!
