One of the highlights of our whole trip! Opali and his family are pretty much the nicest, most welcoming people we ever met. Food was amazing and the room very spacious. We had great talks and Opali told us a lot about his life and Sri Lankas situation. He even did a night walk with us where we saw lots of animals. Also, the place is perfectly located if you want to visit the ancient city, you can even rent bikes directly at the house. In Polonnaruwa I would go there again any time. Highly recommended!!

We booked Livinginn Polonnaruwa online and stayed there with three families. It was a great experience from start to finish. The rooms were spacious enough for our budget, very clean, and well-maintained. They also served us delicious food exactly as we requested, and always on time. The owner was extremely helpful and welcoming, which made our stay even more pleasant. The garden area was perfect for our kids to play and enjoy safely. The dining area was also very convenient—fully equipped with plates, glasses, spoons, a burner, microwave, fridge, and everything we needed to prepare or enjoy meals comfortably. Another big plus is the location—very close to the main attractions in Polonnaruwa like Gal Viharaya and Rankoth Vehera. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, a shuttle service, room service and free WiFi. we felt very welcomed every day the table for us was placed in the garden; always fresh flowers the hotel has an interesting architectural concept with imitation of local ruins style: dark terracotta bricks, moon stones... very calm atmosphere, even with events there were no noise at all we were very exited to see Sri Lankan wedding in the hotel, all that beautiful guests like a bunch of colourful flowers. I was totally amused seeing bride invitation Kandyan dance, thanks to the hotel team who kindly invited us to see it, I appreciate it a lot the place is well managed; Mr Buwa is very professional and reliable manager, we felt cared about
