Located in Udawalawe, NATURE HOUSE offers rustic accommodation with free WiFi access available at all areas. Rooms are comfortable, clean and fitted with a spacious private terrace. Everything. Our favourite stay so far in Sri Lanka. Host is amazing - very friendly and all staff were well trained and very attentive. Pool is a nice feature ans breakfast was great. We especially enjoyed the authentic home cooked Sri Lankan curry buffet - it was delicious.

Offering a barbecue and views of the garden, green view safari resort is located 8 km from Udawalawe National Park. We have been to a number of very good family run b&bs throughout Ceylon. All of them good. But this one deserves a 10 because the owners really put a lot of effort in making clients happy. The dinner and breakfast was excellent and the safari tour organized by them also. The driver was very experienced and went through roads outside the beaten path to find animals which in this season are hiding and difficult to find. Great. The room was very clean, aircon worked well, mosquito nets etc. Just one tip: europeans like their breakfast with coffee or tea served together with food. After only for lunch and dinner.

The place is totally lovey, nicely decorated, well maintained, spacious rooms, the shower is just supercool. The place is at a nice quiet area but close to everything. We had some difficulty on our way and arrived after check-in hours. We managed to call the owner and he was soo helpful, they even put aside a superb dinner even we arrived after the the kitchen was closed. The staff and the manager were also very friendly and helpful. We would certainly will come back to this place when around. Totally recommended. We went on a safari arranged by the hotel, the pricing was good and the cars were in great condition. We went on 3 hours and that was good for us. (tip: ask a car with armholders at the seats - we happened to have one and just realized how comfy it comes at bumpy roads in the park :)) Wish we could stay longer.

This was the most unique stay ever! The treehouse is amazing! Sitting on the balcony watching the birds was so relaxing. The staff are so friendly and helpful, arranging us our safari and onward taxi. The Sri Lankan curry and breakfast were the best we had!

Steps from Udawalawe National Park, Kottawatta Village offers a peaceful and scenic getaway from the city and night camping. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. This is a great resort with friendly professional staff. My accommodation was better than I had anticipated. I had a basic tent with a fan and I was comfortable enough. They do offer tents with AC as well.

Spread across 5 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, Kalu’s Hideaway Udawalawe is a perfect spot for a relaxed family getaway. We had a wonderful stay at Kalus Hideaway Udawalawe. The food was delicious, and the staff were exceptionally well-trained, attentive, and friendly. The rooms, while slightly dated, were spacious, functional, and well-equipped. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens, especially the butterfly garden, which was a delight to explore. The on-site restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, and our excursion to Udawalawe National Park was a highlight of the trip. Overall, a relaxing and memorable experience — highly recommended.
