The soundproofed guest rooms feature a patio with a view. All rooms have a private bathroom including a hairdryer. We really enjoyed our stay at this riad, from the mint tea welcome, to the point that we left the following morning. The central courtyard was lovely and the rooms were nicely decorated. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace, where we ate a delicious dinner. The staff were great, with a special mention for Sukina, the night manager, who was delightful. The location was great, inside the old medina. As expected, there can be no on-site parking inside the medina, so we parked in a car park outside the wall and had a carossa transport our luggage to the riad.

Staff, especially the guy and two womens working in there, were fantastic. I missed my bag and have to go back to airport. They were kind and let me know the tips with sincere heart. Not this thing, everything was perfect.

Both went above and beyond to accommodate me throughout the duration of my stay, including booking a private tour guide and arranging transport to my next destination. Perfect location with a lovely rooftop terrace, room was very spacious and fully equipped, and breakfast was plentiful. Fantastic value for money and greatly exceeded my expectations.

Car hire is available at this riad and the area is popular for horse riding. Save Parking for Market is 300 metres from Dar Borj, while Army Museum is 500 metres from the property. Dar Borj is a true hidden gem nestled in the little alleyways of the old medina. Its location is absolutely ideal for exploring, yet it still feels tucked away and peaceful. Aziz couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful, and the rooms are as charming and cosy as they come — it truly exceeded all expectations. Be sure to take them up on their offer to arrange a day tour for you — you won’t regret it. I did one with Mahmoud and learned so much about the rich history and hidden corners of Fez. An unforgettable experience all around.

Riad Yamcha offers accommodation in Meknès.

Certain rooms include a seating area where you can relax. A balcony or patio are featured in certain rooms. The air-conditioned rooms are fitted with a private bathroom fitted with a shower. We had a wonderful time at Riad Yamcha. The riad is beautifully furnished. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful roof terrace. The location is perfect for exploring Meknes. Unfortunately, most of the sights were being renovated at the time of our stay (May 2024). If we had known this, we would probably have skipped Meknes. The riad was still a highlight. We also had dinner in the riad at a large table with the other guests - we can highly recommend the food here. If we travel to Meknes again, we will gladly book here again.
