Reception was easy. The rooms were so clean. The view of the sea is amazing. The location is very central. Breakfast is to die for! If you ever get a chance to stay with this hotel, do so. Its luxury at its best.

Set amidst a nature reserve overlooking the South China Sea, Shangri-La Rasa Ria, Kota Kinabalu features relaxing stays in elegantly furnished guest rooms. The breakfasts were the best we've had on our travels- huge buffet selection plus an a la carte selection. Evening meals were also excellent at Oceano restaurant. The staff were outstanding- super helpful

The Magellan Sutera Resort is large property popular with families, groups, and couples. Staff were professional and very helpful. The rooms (ours was sea view, king) are spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The pool area is beautiful and very popular with children, and there is a small beach to access the sea. There are several restaurants to choose from with very good food options. The breakfast buffet (included) was tasty, varied and plentiful. The view from the open-air breakfast area was truly tropical.

El Kokol Haven Resort ofrece alojamiento de 3 estrellas en Kota Kinabalu, a 15 km del mercado filipino Sabah y a 11 km de la mezquita de la ciudad de Likas. I liked the amazing view of the sunset, mountains, garden, and the early check-in. All the staff were friendly; what I liked most was that the manager was humble enough to talk to guests—asking how they could improve, offering what I needed, and even going beyond that by taking a picture of me, as I am a solo traveler. 😀 Moreover, I took a jungle trek, and it was a good experience—a replacement for the gym, a chance to enjoy nature and hike. I liked the food (you can only rely on their restaurant because I think there are none nearby). The Wi-Fi is a bit intermittent but able to manage work calls. The room is spacious. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, you can come here for a retreat experience. It would not be called Haven for no reason!🥰
