Each unit has a private bathroom with a shower. We stayed 2 nights and absolutely loved it. The cabin was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with a stunning view of the fjord and mountains. The facilities were spotless and everything felt fresh and well cared for.

It also has a garden. wonderful stay, has the feel of a homestay or airbnb but with the professionalism, amenties and the restaurants of a hotel. Lovely location with gorgeous views, only a few minutes from town and there is a courtesy bus that will run you in/pick you up as needed. This was a lovely break from our mainly large hotel stay during our travels. Late checkout 12 pm meant that we could have a sleep in and not have to rush in the morning

Overlooking the lake of Eidfjordvatnet, this traditional timber-clad property is just 12 km from the spectacular Vøringsfossen waterfall. Guests can enjoy speciality pancakes on the terrace with mountain views all around. The breakfast was excellent, the pancakes - yum! The valley is gorgeous, you just can't stop admiring the view. Staff was super nice and helpful. Highly recommended!

Housed in a listed building from 1857, Thon Hotel Sandven’s individually decorated rooms have a private bathroom with shower. Some offer fjord views and a balcony. The breakfast was the largest and best free breakfast we have ever had at a hotel! The historic side of the hotel was fantastic for a coffee/tea break and meals. We had a very large (two-bedroom) suite in the newer wing of the hotel. It included a kitchen where we baked a supermarket pizza one evening. The balcony had a beautiful view looking down the fjord.
