Renovated in 2014, all rooms at Royal Garden feature typically Nordic décor, a minibar and trouser press. Most rooms have parquet floors. We had a very comfortable stay here. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Sofia and Elena from the Reception are very helpful and professional. The hotel's location in the centre is very convenient

The modern guest rooms at Thon Hotel Nidaros also feature large windows, high ceilings and antique-style wood furnishings. All have a minibar and tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast was on par with other Thon hotels. It was Great! Items were fresh and well prepared. We really looked forward to having breakfast int he morning.

Also, since the hotel is near the concert hall, I was able to attend a Brahms concert by the Trondheim Symphony Orcestra.
