Just 300 metres from the lakefront of Waipahihi Bay, Little Haven offers an outdoor swimming pool and a hot tub. The self-contained apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen and a flat-screen TV. We liked the room we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom family room, there were lots of things on site for the kids to enjoy, especially the pool. The hosts could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. The Little Haven was close enough to everything we wanted, including a takeaway and a small grocery shop. All of the facilities were modern and new. A great place to stay at a reasonable price if you are in Taupo.

Situated on a picturesque rose garden, Phoenix Thermal Resort - Taupo is 2 minutes' walk from Lake Taupo and 20 minutes' walk from Taupo City Centre. It is 2.7 km from Taupo Airport. I was visiting for Ironman and it was perfect accommodation. I arrived early and was able to get an early checkin no problem. The photos on line do not do justice to this place. Everything is in good order. Comfortable, clean. Plenty of room and no worries. Next time we will stay longer.

Location was amazing. Right in front of the lake and only 5 minutes from the town centre. The room itself felt quite luxurious, it's obviously an old building but it's been renovated as good as it can be. Bedroom was spacious, bathroom was even bigger and the balcony/hot tub area was great. Quite baby proof too.

We had a 2 bedroom hotel room. The beds were comfortable, breakfast was included. The hotel is in a nice location near the lake, free parking.
