Everything in our Tanara deluxe premium studio was perfect. Everywhere was top notch and spotlessly clean. The extra large rain shower and the TV at the end of the bath were luxurious. Clean, comfortable and plenty of space. Beautiful ten minute walk along the lake to shops and great restaurants. Even cooked up a meal on our first night..no problems. The views are spectacular.

Situated on the edge of Lake Te Anau, Birchwood Cottages is a 2-hour drive to Milford Sound, a scenic alpine drive. Lake Manapouri and Doubtful Sound are 20 minutes away by car. A spacious and comfortable unit with friendly, helpful hosts. We really enjoyed the Milford Sound tour that they organised with the exceptional guide, Jamie. Very effective heating and good parking. Close to town centre with variety of restaurants.
