Staff very pleasant. Looked after us very well indeed. Were upgraded on arrival. Hot-tub a boon. Fantastic panoramic view from balcony. Lovely continental breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Surrounded by vast, tree-lined gardens, the charming Convento São Paulo offers 2 outdoor pools a tennis court and offers 4 padel courts. A very interesting convent in lovely countryside. We could explore the historic building. We were here in November so didn’t get chance to use the swimming pool but that looked worth coming back for. There are a couple of great walks laid out in the Convent estate. We had a good dinner in the restaurant. The room and breakfast were excellent, staff very helpful. We have already recommended it to friends who also travel in the area.

Beautiful home, incredible view and a wonderful hostess. It's a place you can cool offer a hot day in the pool, watch the sunset, cuddle with dogs and cats and have a peaceful night's sleep. Love the breakfast too- and thankful our hostess could move the time a little earlier so we could get to our Rail Hike on time.

The room Is wonderful, very central location and nice and big cozy room. They were very gentle, welcoming requests as luggage storage in the restaurant. They make my dinner in the restaurant special because they bring a dessert with a candle for my girfriend birthday as I asked, thank you so much!!
